This betta tank is nice to look at. However, we have had two of our three betta's get out of the tank within a few weeks of using this tank. First, I would like to mention that we have had the same three Betta's for years. They slipped out of the openings on the top, where the water flows through. Fortunately we were able to save one, however sadly the other one didn't make it. It happened about two weeks apart. So now I have the tops covered and the tank unplugged until I can get a safer one to keep our Betta's in. If you buy this, please keep a close eye on your bettas, if your betta's are like ours and very personal where they greet you at the top each time you're near the tank, it's probably not the tank for you or your bettas. Prior to this, we have NEVER had a betta jump out/get out of any type of tank we've had them in. They were in tanks prior that were completely open on the top and they never once got out. I have never left a negative review before, and I'm sorry I need to leave this one, however I wouldn't want other people that are attached to their bettas to find them on the floor when they walk in the door.
