STAY AWAY! FAR AWAY! We are a team of housing developers and builders and ordered product from Cali that was assured to be "a great floor." We needed 20,000 sq. Feet. We did our due diligence, ordered samples, spoke with the reps, etc. We were promised free shipping to anywhere in the United States. Upon review of our invoice, they snuck in a shipping charge which they would not review. Kind of shady, but whatever....And then the product showed up. We spent days trying to install one unit, with some of the best floor installers Idaho has to offer. We used heat guns, rollers, blocks, anything and every technique available. The floor was absolute crap. Not only was installation impossible with breaking the tongue and groove of each board, once they were installed, they developed hairline fractures. The first time someone drags a chair across this floor, it will be destroyed. Cali wouldn't own it. We sent them some of the flooring product for testing and they concluded that it perfectly usable. I guess 50% installation waste is acceptable to these guys. We incurred thousands of dollars in installation and then rip out costs, not to mention pain and hassle to find a new product quickly and deliver it ourselves to the job site. Terrible experience for us. Disappointing that they sell such a poor product and call it great. Their customer service won't budge on refunding the product we tried to install. We're out thousands of dollars and massive man hours on this. Very disappointing.
