I purchased this sauna last year, not before calling and asking about the EMF output. I was told it was "practically none." The Environment Protection Agency advises not to subject yourself to over .5 - 2.5 mG. Milligauss is the measurement of EMF, which stands for Electromagnetic Field. EMF emits radiation which many believe can be very dangerous. My wife and I are fighting cancer and are very conscious of this and believe long-term exposure can very well cause cancer. I have asked JNH to modify this sauna, since they claim to sell another sauna with zero EMF. Many scientists say that is not possible. Regardless, they refused to do anything. We will not use the sauna nor will we even give it away. We believe it is too dangerous. We purchased our own calibrated EMF meter and found that the true EMF output is 20 - 30 time what JNH claims. We called the FDA today and find that they know nothing about JNH or what they are selling. We will request an investigation related to false advertising and selling a dangerous product.
