Pure scam, doesn't even live to its own specs
The whole method of electromagnetic water treatment is fairly questionable, this is why I decided to try a higher-grade unit to make sure it's not falling short because of "cost optimizations". What has been discovered, is that the unit consumes roughly 0 Watt from the AC line, and output specs aren't even close to what is claimed. Two units tried (performed identically wrong), the effect was zero in a course of over a week with each of them. Below will be some technical details based on Masters degree in EE and 20+ years in industry, so may be a bit complicated for outsiders, but nothing new actually. First red flag was that the description says it works on copper pipes, while the electrodes aren't a magnetic loop, but rather radiation antennas. Such sort of antennas only work at the frequencies starting from few KHz, which copper pipes will block (this is how EMI shielding works). Basically, no signal will reach inside the pipe in this design. Closed magnetic loop running at lower frequencies might look believable, but that's not the case here. Knowing that, I made a PVC insert to make sure it at least has chance to work in accordance to original idea. Second thing is that winding direction has not been specified. On different installation diagrams it's either co-directional or opposite. Dependent on that, the antennas will either be amplifying common signal, or mutually cancelling it, with completely different outcome. I tried both just in case. Third point is 0 Watt consumption, and it's obviously wrong as any transformation requires energy. Another reviews mentioned up to 0.5 W continuous power which sounds believable, but my ones both were below lowest measurement unit which is 0.1 W. Bringing the units to the bench revealed that output waveform span is below 5 V (vs. 30 V advertised), and signal shape looks degraded, like one of the components in the output stage is either faulty or plain wrong part. Sure enough, no practical effect at all like already mentioned, despite keeping hope alive. No offense, but I think this product should be banned.
