Do not buy the Smooth 4, or for that matter, any Zhiyun smartphone gimbal, if you have an Android phone. The full features of the gimbals with the ZY play app are not available for Android devices, in particular 4K video. I specifically asked the question of whether all features of the gimbal and the ZY play app were available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 thru The Amazon.com website to be answered by Zhiyun Official. The answer came back that all features were available, rest assured; thank you for your concern. After the Smooth 4 shipped on 4/16/18, and after others had received their order and found some features are not available for Android phones (including the note 8); I see the answer to my initial aforementioned question had been changed to reflect that some features are not compatible including 4k video thru the app. ZHIYUN is not being fully transparent about this up front.
