The gap in these clothespins is too narrow to hold clothing to a clothesline. On the left is the clothespin from this order and on the right is a typical clothespin. There is a major difference between the two. I would send these back but it's not worth it. Don't waste your money on these unless you are just pinning a sheet of paper to a piano string.
