You can’t setup without installing another app onto your phone. There is no reason for this in 2021. Have the app, no problem. But allow people to bypass your app that -and I quote- “…collect(s) data about your eero network to help us optimize your Wi-Fi performance. This includes your network status, the devices that are connected to your eeros, their assigned IP addresses, signal strength, and data usage. Your network settings are stored securely in the cloud so you access them from anywhere, whether or not your eeros are online.” No thanks. There’s no reason to have my network monitored by your app when network setup is trivial in 2021. There is no reason for your app to be a requirement for this equipment. My network isn’t your business.
