Not happy. I put the entire thing together, then when I got to the last page, it said there was a 15 pound limit on each shelf. Excuse me, but this is a BOOKCASE. See the title of the item? I put my needlework pattern books on the first shelf and it immediately started sagging. I would say if you need this for books, look elsewhere. The only reason I'm not even considering returning it is because my sweet blind husband carried it up our very long, round staircase and it was very heavy. I do not want him to risk falling taking it back down. Also, there were some dings on the inside parts of the side pieces. It doesn't show much, but they were dime sized chunks that were missing. The shelf brackets are very light weight plastic. At first I thought they were the reason for the 15# limit, but after I saw the sagging shelf, I realized they were not the limiting factor. I guess I'm going to have to get something else and use this for yarn or something else that's lighter than books. It was fairly easy to assemble without written instructions, only drawings. The hardware was all there, and a few extras. The L-bracket stabilized it against the wall. It took about 30 minutes to assemble. That's all I have that's good to say about it. Overall, I feel cheated. Will not buy from them again. I don't think I've ever given anyone less than 4 stars before. Sorry guys, go elsewhere and even spend a little more, get real wood not this pressed stuff that falls apart so easily.
