Have been using this machine for two days. I am happy with it generally. It's quiet. It took a lot of tweeking to get it positioned exactly right and my chair just so, but once everything was in place it stayed put. And I use it most of the time I'm sitting at my desk. Even though the room is kept cool this time of year, I have my fan circulating the air because I'm sweating a bit. The problem is this metal washer (I think it's a tension spacer) broke and fell off. I think I know where it came from but can't be sure. It looks like it could be difficult to replace. The machine still works fine, but I'm worried the parts will begin to wear and make noise. I'm sure they put that washer on there for a reason. Update: After just a few weeks it is now squeaking and clicking and generally so noisy I have to stop peddling whenever I'm listening to music or watching a video. Bought this because I thought it was high quality that would last. Save your money and buy something you can afford to throw away when it breaks.
