Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

After combing through a handful of reviews for portable systems, I decided to buy this one for my husband's birthday. I made the right choice -- it worked great right of the box and the sound quality is pretty good. We are also very pleased with the volume -- the sound fills the room. So far so good, I am very happy with my purchase! Update 12/24/13: We tried using it to play Christmas records for the family and discovered the vinyl peeling off inside and the player making some weird clicking sound that overshadows the music. We've kept the stereo in a temperature controlled room and only moved it once so it's not as if we're roughing it up. Unfortunately, what was once an awesome gift has pretty much become a dud and waste of money for us. Bummer.
