Pandemic Theme and the worst of Humanity in one Book
Read all 17 books in Louise Penny's 3 Pines Series,pre-ordered this one and thus no warning how dismal it would be in advance. Not a mystery book, certainly could be appropriate for a course in Ethics /Behavioral Science etc. Extremely depressing ,the simplistic "hot chocolate makes things better " trivializes the tragic nature of the book's theme. No more by this author for me.
