11/7/2017 Just received the case today. When I saw how beautiful it is, I could not wait but open it. After installing it with such ease to my iPhone X. I felt my phone became even much more premium. Until I experienced a problem. The back clear housing of the case, scratches so easily, as if it is Plexiglas. This is the second case I bought for my iPhone X. So far it is an okay case. Maybe, the manufacturer should use a clear frosted housing, instead of a clear and shiny housing. At least there would be much prone to finger prints and scratches. And possibly even more grip in the rear. I have no idea why all manufacturers are doing shiny clear back housing cases, instead of frosted clear backs. Honestly, Poetic(another brand of case that I dearly loved) had it right back then, before they did a switch to clear and shiny backs. I do not know what I think of the reroute for the speaker holes to aim at the front. I feel like it gives a slight delay on sound playback. But I do not know, maybe it is just me.I have yet to drop the phone, while in its case. So I cannot rate the durability of drop tests, and I do not wish to do any drop tests on this expensive piece of hardware(So i'll let the other reviewers do that with their own device(s)). Overall, I give this phone case 3/5. Update 11/8/2017 After just a whole day of using it, I already can see dust particles inside my case, just sitting in between my phone and case. I am not quite sure where the dust is slipping through, but I do not appreciate seeing dust on my phone. Secondly, I now see a little bubble, as if the case did not fully wrap around my phone. So I have to pull the case a little to get the bubble to disappear. It did appear the first day of using it. But I fixed it by removing and reapplying the case. Honestly, quite annoying to see. The bubble is only a tiny little thing, but if you have an OCD problem like myself with detail, then I am quite sure it will bug you a lot too. I am already feeling that this $30 case is meh. My Spigen Ultra Hybrid case that costed me $14, does an even better job. I got that case on day one of the iPhone X launch and it does better on scratches(on the back shiny housing) and dust compared to this case. Also, I keep seeing new scratches throughout my day with this case. I will keep my rating at 3/5 but it is starting to degrade from my personal experience of 48hours with it. Maybe this case is 2.5/5. Will update more if anything else occurs. 11/9/17 After two days of use, there is this much dust that accumulated in such little time(refer to the photo that I uploaded). This case company needs to do something about dust. And I decided to remove it, after realizing how much volume I lose and distortion when in speaker mode, due to the reroute holes(basically making it a front facing speaker phone, well imitating one). 2/5 11/11/17 Alright, I now encountered another problem with this case. Apparently my volume buttons are ghosting. All I can say, is that I will be dropping this rating to 1/5. More scratches are forming, more lint and dust getting through and ghosting. Truly a big disappointment after four whole days of use. I expected a lot from a $35 case. Shoot more like a $5 knock off case. I’ll provide photos, before returning it. I will even do a side by side comparison of the two cases(X-Doria & Spigen). Both that were used for four whole days each.
