I saw no evidence that this novel had received the benefit of editing or proof-reading. It was poorly written and full of errors in both grammar and punctuation. There were inappropriately used words, the repetition of a limited number of adjectives and awkwardly phrased conversations between the characters. The story did not flow very well and didn't make much sense in some places. The main characters were uncomfortably drawn and did not seem right for each other. The weak, confused heroine was not ready for a new romance and the hero apparently had some emotional issues of his own. His tendencies towards anger, jealousy and a need for control were not too admirable. I couldn't feel much for either of them or their odd, clumsy relationship. This novel is in need of some major restructuring and polishing. The effort might have been acceptable as the product of a high school writing class, but is certainly not worthy of a professional writer.
