Purchased this as an economical upgrade to our 1st gen iPad. Sold as "certified refurbished" but upon arrival I found no indication that it had been refurbished or certified but that it was "new" (which it clearly was not) and another label stating it was "preowned". Additionally it had several scratches on the screen and body/case. Much to my disappointment we initiated a return immediately. The reviews are mixed so it seems you have a chance at getting what you ordered or something else. Warranty offered is 90 days however true Apple "certified refurbished" products offer 1yr and optional apple care.
