My husband is a truck driver, so we bought this seat as an inexpensive extra so when our 3 year old wanted to go with him for the day we didn’t have to do the seat shuffle. Regretting our choice so so so much right now. After a days worth of riding, our son kept messing with his back, we pulled up his shirt to find three huge swollen spots starting to bruise on his spine. I freaked out and ripped the seat apart to find the cause and found this this plastic “seam” right where his back rests. I’m not sure if we got a defective seat or what but it’s going straight into the trashcan. Do yourself a favor and if you’re planning on using this for more than a 10-15 minute car rides occasionally, spend the extra money.
