After fewer than 6 months of use the valve began to leak. I contacted Dramm customer service to inquire about the lifetime warranty and was informed that although they would send a repair kit, the valve was not designed for use "as continual shut-off for extended periods of time" or to "be used as a shut off for a water source that is left on". Had this limited and significantly restricted operation been made available in the product description I never would have bought this valve. The company refused to accept its return and provide a refund of this falsely advertised product.
