I will keep this short and simple. I bought this darn thing to help me out because I have been doing this manually for years. I have a spreadsheet and a sharpie. When an egg comes home from the store I create a new row in the spreadsheet, then write the number on the egg. Then I place the egg in the tray and go back to the spreadsheet to update the row. So many times I forgot which egg went in which hole, until I started putting the numbers on the top of the eggs. Then a friend conveniently bought this for me. I can tell you that it was wonderful until I bought my second dozen of eggs. The second dozen threw me for a loop. I had 14 spots and 15 eggs. I didn't know what to do, so I created a new spreadsheet and used the cheese drawer to store the eggs. Then my wife accidentally got some more eggs because she went to the store at the same time. Now we have more eggs in my drawer. The ink started to smear on the cheese and the drawer itself. I have tried everything. Can someone recommend a good sharpie remover for eggs, cheese and drawers? What we have been doing is eating the eggs out of this tray, then looking for an egg to move to it. Damn it, I have ink on the bottom of my hand! [expletive!] I didn't see that. OK I am back. I washed it off my hand. Thank goodness for good old SAW. OK. I am back again. Back to my review. I was Aw s*** I have it on my jeans too. I must have wiped it on them when I was opening the drawer. Does anyone know how to get egg sharpie off jeans? These are blue jeans and the sharpie is black. I used the medium point sharpie. I really recommend the medium point sharpie as it does a wonderful job and isn't too wide. My favorite is black, but I have been known to venture into blue territory. I really don't like red. It looks like the eggs are bloody. I don't think any chicken would feel good about that. OK. I used some clothes soak for the jeans. They look a little better and will hopefully be good when they come out of the washing machine. Why do they call it a washing machine and yet if you put dishes in the washing machine in the kitchen they call it a dish washer? I wash cups and spoons. Why not either call them both washing machines or call it a clothes washer? So back to this sharpie review. This sharpie does everything I need. I would highly recommend it. Just be sure to get 3 of them so you can keep one in your car, one in your desk drawer and one for the fridge for that stupid egg tray thing I was reviewing this morning.
