I thought these would be perfect to use to attach a new gate in my hallway. However, when I was screwing in the sides of the gate I noticed that these were pressing into the wall and leaving an imprint of Wall Nanny on the wall. I took them off and returned them. I was able to slap some Spackle on the imprints and touch them up with paint. Maybe my walls are just not tough enough...
