Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I bought both the kindle and audible whisper-sync edition of this book and I am thinking I may return it. There are so many forced comparisons to booze that I found myself yelling, "NOT AGAIN!" at my iPad. I couldn't believe how far this author went to make these comparisons. I get it, sometimes we use products to describe people, but not in every chapter. I found the story a bit far fetched but will give this book two stars for effort. If you skip all the whiskey, wine, rum, and margarita references though, there isn't much of a story and I am afraid without those quotes, well, there just isn't much of a word count. I purchased this book on the power of the high volume of positive reviews. Maybe I should have researched these reviews better. I am not sure many of them read the same book I did. Just to add, I found a website that analyzes review data and rates it as a Pass, Warn, or Fail. This book failed. I am not going to make accusations but the data showed that many reviewers were unverified, gave short reviews and used similar words. 470 of the 695 total reviews for this product are unverified purchases. 40% Have Zero Verified Purchases 40% Used Substantial Repetitive Phrases I expect to get this review voted down as every negative one does by authors and their friends but let's be clear, if you buy this book at least one reviewer warned you.
