It should teach me a lesson. Most of the time, I do read the reviews before purchasing anything, but this time, I went on blind faith from the seller ( PROMIC) The LED bulbs are described to be 11 watts and equivelant to 100 watt incadescent. LED bulbs are "supposed" to be rated for light output in LUMENS, but there is no mention of that term in the description. I did a side by side comparison against some incadescent bulbs that I have and these bulbs actually were slightly dimmer than the 75 wat incadescents that I have. Even the dimmest 100 watt incadescent that I have that had been in use for a very long time was much brighter than these 11 watt LED bulbs. The old sayings still have value.
