WARNING - Revamped Product is TERRIBLE, low-absorbency, leak prone, not suitable for overnight use!
Wow. I used these faithfully for YEARS, through multiple children. They were wonderful - absorbed all night long and never a leak, as compared to other brands. Until now.
The brand new version is horrid and has less absorbency than a normal daytime diaper - we couldn't get through a week, I wanted to toss the rest of the box, but my husband suggested we just use them as emergency daytime diapers in the car or something.
In the week we used this item son woke up repeatedly in the morning soaked through his clothes and clammy cold, embarrassed, upset, uncomfortable. Extra laundry, extra inconvenience, and less sleep for everyone. I thought we'd done something wrong, but reading the reviews on the new product -- I can see I'm not alone. I'm done with this brand. Canceling my subscription that has been serving me well for years, and heading over to the Pampers camp. Buyers beware.
Update to include response to manufacturer who, in repeated responses to poor reviews here, blames experienced parents rather than accepting responsibility/accountability for their newly ineffective product:
It's definitely not the size that's the issue - he is currently a size 4, and so we put him in size 5 for overnight. We have been temporarily using Pampers size 4 daytime Cruisers for our new overnights (to replace this product) and they work better.
The issue is the quality of your new revamped diaper. It's poor. The quicker absorbency, or whatever updates have been made, compromises the total absorbency such that the the amount it contains in total is less. The urine starts seeping through the outside of the diaper quite quickly when it's not even that expanded or heavy, so I suspect that the amount of absorbency material is far less than it was in the former version, or much less able to expand.
The tragedy is that so many parents relied on your former product as being top notch in quality and high in utility. Now, this product is false advertising in a box - how can it be accurately called "overnites" when it holds less than a normal daytime diaper?
