Always armed for dispatch, no choice
Sad to say one cannot control when this is active (like all the other sensors!). It always causes a dispatch event (yes I know they call first, but I do not always carry my phone at home). I need it to follow the normal rules for other sensors in that I can set it up to only trigger if I am away. Rest of the system seems fine. (Interestingly the support person claimed it was for my neighbors safety. If their company would cover the cost of a false dispatch then I would be more interested in that argument, given that 99% of the smoke detectors in my city are not set up to auto dispatch ). In esscence they have chosen that I should bear the cost and embarrassment of a false dispatch over an infinitesimal, unmeasured theoretical reduction of risk to my neighbors. Since when does someone else get to make that choice for me?
