★★☆☆☆
the motion is easy to get used to
I purchased this directly from the Bowflex website after reading the reviews. Customer service is a hit or miss. Once you buy it, they really don't care about following up with you or dealing with your concerns. I had it professionally assembled which was well worth the money. As for workout, the motion is easy to get used to. But for the price I paid, I expected a smoother stride. It's cheap plastic with a cheap looking console. The machine makes a clunky noise on the slower speeds. Honestly, if you're a seasoned athlete, you'll be on the max resistance from day one with nothing to work with other then speed. If you're new to exercise, this machine might be a good way to start. I had surgery on my knee and wanted something low impact. Bowflex claims this machine is, but it's not. I kept getting pain in my left knee and hip. I ended up selling the unit and got a good old fashioned inclined treadmill--which I'm much happier with. My recommendation is try the machine before you buy! It's got both good and bad points but it wasn't the one for me.
