I loved this dispenser for the first 10 days. Then it started leaking soap on my counter! At first it was perfect! Not too loud. I loved how I could dial how much soap it dispensed. It was great! Then after using it for just under 2 weeks, I found that it was leaking soap from the bottom of the dispenser. Guess I'll go back to the brand I'd replaced - at least that one lasted over 5 years! *** Update #1 *** After a month, I requested a replacement from the manufacturer & the new one works perfectly! No more leaks! *** Update #2 *** The replacement worked so well, that 16 months later I decided to order another (in antique copper). I moved the original (chrome) to a different bathroom & within 2 months it started having problems. This time, instead of leaking, it just doesn't always work! When I place my hand under the sensor, the light blinks but, no soap is dispensed. Replacing the batteries doesn't help. The chrome unit just stops working (so I have to pour the soap out from the top) & then after a few hours (or days) it’ll start working again. I should've sent it back for a replacement, but I'd forgotten that it had a 2 year warranty & it's now 5 months past the 2 year mark. I've only had the antique copper one for 13 months & so far it hasn't had any problems, but I'm not holding my breath. *** Update #3 *** It had been just under 15 months when the antique copper unit started having the same problems as the chrome - it just stops working (so I have to pour the soap out from the top) & then after a few hours (or days) it’ll start working again. So I’d say this thing works great for about 1 ½ years, then after that it’s hit & miss. If you want something that will last a few years, DON'T BUY THIS!
