This cake dust was used to coat strawberries on a birthday cake. They looked great but tasted like chemicals. One of the party participants ate a few of them and became very sick the next morning with his body ridding itself of the poison from all directions of which the gold dust was visible. I would not recommend this for any food that will be eaten, it should be intended for decorative use only. The only ingredient listed is Mica, like the mineral you find on rocks. Does that sound like something you should be ingesting?
