Let's start with the battery. It does not last anywhere near 3-6 months. I'm lucky if it lasts 6 weeks before it needs to be charged again. I charge it probably once a month. I tried the AI Plus subscription when I first got the doorbell, but nothing actually worked, so it wasn't worth paying $2 a month for that. It is constantly recording traffic in the distance but doesn't record when someone actually comes to the door. With a recent firmware update, Wyze introduced detection zones for the doorbell, so I blocked out the street and yet I still get a notification every minute for nothing. Sometimes there's a car going by outside the detection zone, or there's just nothing happening at all. So the detection zones make no difference whatsoever. Not sure what the point of introducing these features that don't change anything about the user experience. My camera sensitivity settings also keep changing by themselves. I keep them at the lowest setting in a futile attempt to make the battery last more than a few weeks, but sometimes I'll check and it has reset itself at the highest sensitivity for some reason. I don't understand how settings can change themselves, but they do. I have a lot of Wyze products that I love and so was very disappointed with this video doorbell. I expect a lot better from Wyze than this. I hope they improve this product but I would definitely not recommend it right now.
