It doesn't look like I am alone in my disappointment in Amazon. I have worked with Amazon and GE Bank before and never had any problems in the past. My problem of an overdue payment seemed to stem from automated payment from a discontinued credit card. First and foremost I never gave permission for any automated payment!!!! I also paid the account regularly and on time manually,AND I LIKE TO KEEP ACCOUNTS PAID OFF. so it sounds like a computer glitch. With all the late charges, my bill just kept going up. When I finally got through to a person after much hassle with automation he supposedly reversed all charges and reinstated my credit. I still do not see it on my on line statement. I have a FICO score of over 800 so my credit rating in over the moon, and I really am disappointed in Amazon. BEWARE OF THIS. I am happy for those who have had a good experience, but I haven't. I thought I would get some breaks on shipping, but that hasn't been the case. Paying with PAYPAL has been my best experience.
