This activity band claims it is water resistant up to 50 meters (164 feet) and that you can jump in the pool with your swim-ready Gear Fit2 Pro. This is simply false advertising! My activity band is only 6 months old and I went into chest-high water twice and now my activity band no longer works. I sent it back to Samsung for repair and they told me that it has been found un-repairable due to liquid damage. I am a meticulous person and I read and follow instructions completely. Before entering the water, I turned the activity band on water mode. After exiting the water I rinsed the band and dried thoroughly. After it was dry, I turned it off water mode. That is after the first time. After going in the water and following the instructions the second time, it no longer would turn on. I called Samsung back about this and they refuse to stand by their product and their advertising of it. I actually had one supervisor tell me that he would not have gone in the pool with it. It says right on their advertising that you can jump in your pool with it.
