Similar to other's experiences- it simply stopped working. When it was working: We make french press coffee: this unit didn't produce a consistent coarse grind. Lots of fine powder mixed in. Very noisy while grinding, overspeeds when hopper empties. Like all plastic coffee grinder containers- static causes the coffee grinds to stick to the sides & top. I replaced this with a KitchenAid Pro Line Pearl Metallic grinder- best one I've ever had by far, and worth every penny.
