Seems to be a good machine. Packaging is top notch and assembly is easy. My wife is happy with the tension setting on 3, I'm using the machine on 11 and slightly concerned it will not provide enough resistance for me, but we will see....We decided to buy this unit before we invest in a concept 2 and are so far pretty impressed for the price. As another reviewer mentioned, this seems to be the model to purchase. The one below this, with many reviews, seems to have some flaws that were corrected with this machine. So far so good, would recommend. Update....I have used this machine on a pretty regular basis (3-4 times per week 400 reps per set) since I bought it and I am updating to report some of the same issues other reviewers have mentioned. Have owned it now about two months and the shock is squeaking like a banshee! I have been rowing on setting 10 and it now squeaks from beginning to end of my 20 min workout. The rollers in the seat are also starting to seize up creating an non-smooth slide. I really don't think that I should be at a point in which I'm doing maintenance on this thing and feel like its just about fallen apart. My return window through Amazon is "closed" and I'm not sure I'll have any recourse. Seemed like decent quality out of the box, not so much anymore.
