False advertising. Inexcusable.
Thayer's description on this (Amazon) website is fraudulent. I've attached a screen grab of the advertised ingredients list, but in case the text is too tiny to read, here's what it says: "Ingredients: Purified Water, Certified Organic Witch Hazel Ext Blend (Hamamelis Virginiana Extract (Witch Hazel*), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Filet of Aloe Vera*)), Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Natural Witch Hazel), Citric Acid, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract" Note that witch hazel is listed as the second ingredient, right after water. However, as you can see in the other photo, that I snapped at home, the ingredients listed on the bottle--for this same product--aren't what is being advertised. The actual ingredients are water, aloe, glycerin, fragrance, and *then* witch hazel. Witch hazel is not the second ingredient but the fifth. There is more fragrance than witch hazel in this stuff. It would have been more accurate if they'd called it Thayers 'Eau de Witch Hazel'. So, Thayer - here's one star for your trouble. For everyone else: if you want real witch hazel get the Forever Pure.
