I bought this sharpener 2 1/2 months ago. I have used it on 3 separate occasions to sharpen a 24 pack of colored pencils. The third time it stopped working at the end, but I didn't think much about it. I figured it was overheating and shut off to cool. I dumped the shavings and put it away to finish another time. I tried to use it today and It does not work at all. Nothing happens. It makes no sound or attempt to turn. It's as if the device isn't plugged in (it is). I tried 3 outlets just in case that was the problem. The outlets worked with other devices. I'm frustrated that the "return window" is closed since it's been more than 30 days. I could not have anticipated that it would stop working so quickly. And now I have a device that doesn't work after only a couple uses. Spend a little more and choose something that will last. This won't.
