Had high hopes for this lamp and even decided to go for it despite about 50/50 positive and negative review feedback in hopes that it would compliment our modern living room decor. Sadly, believe the 50% negative reviews and don't waste your time. If there is a point in life where you should cling to optimism, this lamp purchase is not it. Cons: -Cheaply made shade (you unroll it and it latches together with cheap plastic looking velcro that's very visible - No matter how much I messed with it the lamp was forever crooked. I think I need blood pressure medicine after 2 weeks living with this lamp it drove me so OCD insane. Pros: - Amazon offers free returns so i would say just buy it and try it out for yourself because what do you have to lose, but also that would mean you didn't just read a single thing I wrote so maybe not.
