Potentially Dangerous Product After using the longer set of tongs the very first time, I received a serious cut while washing them when the unfinished interior flange of one of the handles sliced a chunk of my index finger tip off. I wasn't applying any extra pressure at all, the edge on the inside is just razor sharp. I bled profusely all over my sink, and was just glad we hadn't asked the ten year old to wash them. I don't know if it's common for these tongs or if I got an unfinished pair. The construction otherwise seemed great, but I could never recommend these as they arrived. Especially if children or an older person with bleeding issues would be handling them. I'm a healthy man in my 30s and the cut was so deep and clean that it took hours before it stopped completely.
