I was really disappointed with these cacao nibs. The flavor was fine, but about 1/3 or slightly more were pieces of bark or other bits that were not edible. It was frustrating sorting out which pieces I could and could not add to my smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. I read that in other reviews, but it was so highly rated I figured I would give it a try. Well, I'm here to tell you don't waste your time or money. Again, the actual nibs were good which is why I'm giving it 2 stars, but sorting them and having to throw away a good amount of the product is not what I wanted when I purchased these. I would recommend the "Navitas Naturals" brand instead. I've really enjoyed those so far and I haven't encountered pieces that I couldn't eat. They are a little more, but a lot of the Viva brand nibs I couldn't eat so keep that in mind with the price difference.
