Can't recommend, allowed bird to escape to his death. 😥
Sadly, my Beloved Parrotlet figured out how to push this to the side, allowing it to escape into the horrible death of one of my two dogs or my cat. The poor thing is gone...only four feathers left as evidence of his existence. The size of this feeder was large for my bird, as another reviewer mentioned he had to stand on the divider to reach the food, or actually get in the area with the food. It certainly kept the area cleaner. However due to the poor design to prevent escaping I cannot recommend this feeder. Please if you already own this figure out a way to secure it, or only use it INSIDE the cage. I had enjoyed watching my bird friend eating while in there....so very sad. RIP Simon. I'm so sorry.
