I originally ordered this to help deal with chronic back/shoulder/hip/knee pains due to EDS. It works wonderfully and is extremely comfortable! My husband suffers from GERD and stole it on the 2nd night I had it!! So I ordered him one at ~2am because I couldn't sleep anyways, lol. His arrived yesterday. I opened it and immediately felt a difference between the textures of the cover, in addition to the cover not already being on the pillow as it was with mine. It was not at all like the first! It's in general a lower quality pillow, with even the filling and cotton used for the base pillow having a rougher hand to them. The covers are slightly different colors on the blue side, and even the zippers are lower quality! The 2nd pillow we got has the same brand name as the first, but the tag is wider and, you guessed it! made of lower quality materials! The filling is much more firm and does not fluff up at all. These pictures show it over 24 hours after opening, with attempts made to help fluff it. I can only assume this is either a former version of the pillow (I should hope it's not supposed to be an improvement!!), or a knockoff made by the same company! In the pictures: 1st picture: a full body pillow comparison (on a call king), left side is original pillow, right is knockoff pillow. You can see how the knockoff is both less fluffy and not as wide, as well as the difference in fabric color (and texture, but that's next). 2nd picture: close up to see the texture differences between the two pillows (same sides). 3rd and 4th pictures show two different gores used to allow more depth to the pillows, 3rd pic is knockoff (grey), 4th original (navy) 5th and 6th pictures show the two tags, wider one/5th pic belonging to the knockoff, thin one/6th pic belonging to the original. We will be returning the knockoff, and ordering from a different company for a replacement. The sad part? My pillow is truly wonderful, and this would've been a glowing 5 star review if not for the knockoff/drop in quality.
