I thought this might be a great time/work saver compared to scooping up piles of leaves and packing them into yard bags. Looks so convenient and simple to use in the picture...not hardly. First if all, it is difficult to get the topper well secured to your trash can...you really need two people or you'll struggle. I ended up using bungee cords for a tight fit. Next, once you start vacuuming leaves, there is a constant dust storm coming through the nylon topper into the air above. Also the vacuum chute clogs very easily unless you go real slow which will take forever if you have a lot of leaves to pick up. I tried it for an hour and decided it was quicker and easier to scoop the leaves and pack them with a shovel without all the constant dust. Big disappointment! Am returning tomorrow.
