Horrendous. Awful. Rambling. Sick. Twisted. Profoundly misogynistic. Pretentious. Nauseating. Drones on and on. I'm a seasoned reader and enjoy a wide range of literature. This is one of the most revolting and disgusting reading experiences I've ever had. The characters are not believable. I've worked with at-risk adolescent girls and am familiar with the issues of incest, physical, sexual and emotional abuse. This book does nothing to promote understanding of these difficult issues; in fact, it glorifies violence, rape and promotes the denigration of women. Don't waste your time or money.
