This thing is terrible. I like every OXO product I have used (except for their latest no-edge can opener design), and I have used dozens, but avoid this like a volcano pit. - "You had one job, splatter screen: To screen splatter" The holes are so large that this splatter screen fails to do so. It isn't merely "not quite as effective" as a cheap metal screen; I would say that it is "only slightly better than not using a splatter screen at all". - The handle technically folds up, but it takes so much room whether folded or otherwise that it does not easily fit into our cookie sheet cabinet. We can fit approximately 8 standard splatter screens in the same width. - Difficult to fit in a dishwasher In my opinion, this is the worst splatter screen on the market, and I fear that the fact that OXO has years later not offered a non-horrid design may be a sign that they have lost the pride in their products that had made them such a easy choice in the past. Use Farberware's (Amazon item B07D15D74N) or Bellemain's (Amazon item ATVPDKIKX0DER) splatter screens. Both are cheaper and actually work.
