I wanted to use this program to produce an amended and restated version of an existing revocable trust but the program automatically supplied its own name for the trust and would not permit me to substitute the existing trust name in the printed document, which would have required me to reconvey all titled trust property to the new trust name. Maybe this approach would be OK if the program provided more options but the only permitted inputs are trustor, trustee and beneficiary names and a list of trust property. I'm sure that makes it simpler to program while also protecting Nolo from possible liability but it makes the product very inflexible and therefore unsuitable for most purposes. A far superior alternative is Nolo's Make Your Own Living Trust but be aware that the included drafting software can only be edited with MS Word and will not work with open source alternatives such as Open Office.
