BUYER BEWARE
I have only had this blanket for 10 months. Only used it during cold months. Today the bed almost caught on fire. Apparently the cord can just bend from the controls very easily. This caused the wire to flare up and scorch the bed sheets. Luckily we were awake and caught it in time. Contacted Amazon but they said contact Homde. No such luck with them. Tried to contact them and just went in circles with that. Be safe.
