For a $190 pan that’s promised to be lifetime, I was ultimately disappointed with the durability of this pan. I cook almost daily and a nonstick pan is my go-to such that my pan gets heavy use. It is sturdy, heavy, and distributes heat evenly - all the things you expect from an excellent pan. However, this is a nonstick pan and it worked as nonstick the first six monks. Then it started to stick a little and get discolored. I did all the appropriate things - used only silicone utensils from the very beginning, did not use any harsh/metal scrubbier, no dishwasher, etc. Also tried cleaning naturally (boiling vinegar; scrubbing with baking soda paste), with no luck. It slowly deteriorated such that a year later I’m on the market for a new pan. Usually non-sticks don’t last a long time, but, for such a high price, I expected different. Also - reached out to All Clad to try to get a replacement under the lifetime warranty and was promptly rejected. They said normal "wear and tear" and build up based on the same pictures I'm including in this review and that I should just use some baking soda and warm water to get rid of it. Yeah, right...the pictures included are after me trying to scrub with baking soda for half an hour and then boiling vinegar in it. Be forewarned and save your money - the "lifetime" guarantee promise is meaningless.
