Buyer Beware! I bought this end of last year, I have literally used this 7 times since I bought it, even bought my son one of the same. Now when it worked it was great, however going into the 8th month Whoops this thing decided not to work right in the middle of dinner!!! Great, so I called Hamilton Beach and asked customer service to help me with the return process since it was still under warranty. Didn't have the right number according to the representative, this being after the second call, by the way. IT IS THE ONLY SERIAL NUMBER ON THIS WHOLE FRYER!! How do I not have the right number and how are you going to tell me you aren't going to warranty your product?? This is the way these companies get you not to bother them or warranty their product, they give you the run around and tell you they aren't going to help you unless you can come up with the correct number that doesn't exist which is impossible... YET I bought it, here it is I do a lot of purchases on amazon and Hamilton Beach will not be something I buy myself or my sons for future purchases!
