my daughter is autistic and her pediatrician recommended these vitamins b/c they have a type of folate that is easy to metabolize ( autisitc individuals have difficulty metabolizing folate) and she says this brand is the only kind that has that. the price seemed good until i realized she was supposed to be taking 4 gummies a day, so one bottle is one month. hundreds of dollars a year for a product that will mostly end up passing through your body with no effect is just obscene. we will not be purchasing this again. there are other more efficient less expensive ways to get folate w/out paying for the snake oil. if you are curious about taste and texture i can say may daughter never complained (she is very picky) and they didnt smell fishy at all.
