(Took pictures and video so you can follow along with review) My 1st impressions on the 10020C, quality assurance, and California Air are not good at all. On the contrary made me sick to my stomach that so many things where not good out of the box. I myself working QA, here and there sometimes when I'm needed at work, made me see how the customers perception to have a finish, good looking, and working product is so important to keep a respected image on new and returning customers. Where should I start?! I'll go from minor to most severe. 1. dirty hands during packaging (seems like black silicone smears) 2. decals placing and missing (oops) 3. missing washers to attached wheels (I shouldn't need to go to my local hardware to find and pay for them) 4. protective tube cage welded to close to one of the intake filters (it will eventually start coming into contact and rattle, just poor alignment before welding) 5. And the worst thing, it doesn't work right out of the box! (see video) It charges up but the safety relief valves kicks out just before it needs to shut down the motor. (bad safety valve) And if you read the manual, it says for you, the end user to check for leaks and damage etc,.... lol , like passing the quality assurance technicians job to you.... guess what... i found plenty of things wrong to even bother a call to them...wait for replacement parts, and take time out of my life to fix their mistakes..It's just going back out. If I as a customer will be paying 3 times more for a product that delivers those features that warrant that extra cost....(in this case, $200 more next to a comparable but noisier one) Guess what.... I want it perfectly working out of the box! Bummer, I wanted a quiet compressor, but not at my expense with all these faults. I'm sure some get good ones out of the box but no consistency, at least not with me.
