This is the most deceptively packaged product I've purchased on this site. I purchased this because I was looking for a safe, natural, chemical-free dryer sheet. The title describes the product as "Natural" and further in the description “Naturally-derived ingredients.” I carefully read the ingredients before purchase and they were listed as: Deionized Water, Canola Oil Based Quaternary Surfactant, Oroxel GXL, Organic Diol. Biodegradable Cloth Ingredients: Spunlace 100% Rayon Extracted from wood pulp While those ingredients are there, that's not ALL that's in this product. They don't list all of the ingredients. Other ingredients in this product include: PROPYLENE GLYCOL: a chemical byproduct of oil refining. It’s an irritant to skin and eyes, potentially toxic to the kidneys & liver, increases the skin’s absorption of other chemicals it comes into contact with, and has been linked to neurological, cardiovascular & respiratory issues. DIPROPYLENE GLYCOL: a byproduct of propylene glycol – a solvent used in a wide variety of industrial products, and is used in pesticides, hydraulic brake fluids, polyester resins, cutting oils and as a plasticizer. BENZISOTHIAZOLINONE: a type of biocide (the EPA classifies biocides as poisonous substances) linked to immune system toxicity, causing irritation to skin, eyes, and lungs. It may also be a neurotoxin and has been linked to brain cell damage and nerve damage. While there are many so called natural products on the market that include these ingredients and call them safe or "all-natural" I always avoid purchasing them. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT IF THEY HAD GIVEN FULL DISCLOSURE OF ALL INGREDIENTS. I was stunned when I read the ingredients on the actual package and couldn't believe I missed these on the online page so I went back to review the list again. They were NOT listed under the ingredients but I did find several lines down from the list of ingredients a Legal Disclaimer that states that: "Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and different information than what is shown on our website. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product." This is absolutely NOT ACCEPTABLE. They cannot market their product as natural and then list only the ingredients that sound natural and safe, then make a footnote 2 paragraphs later that they may have left some of the more controversial ingredients and it's our responsibility to figure out where they are misleading us. This is obviously meant to be intentionally deceptive. I didn't need the product when it first arrived so I missed my window to return it by the time I opened the package and read the label. I am THROWING THIS PRODUCT AWAY. I can live with not getting a refund but I'm livid at the fraudulent way this product is presented. ALL ingredients should be listed, not a partial list.
