I had a pair of Trekz Air and loved them. They were comfortable, sounded great, and were AWESOME for phone and video calls. I saw these and decided to give my Trekz Air to my wife and upgrade. My first pair had a strange rattling when I shook them a little. I also started getting complaints from people I spoke with on the phone and talked to via video chat. No one could hear me anymore. I thought maybe the rattling was something wrong with the microphone, so I started the warranty process by contacting support on 7/28/2019. They didn't reply until 8/6/2019 when they confirmed that the rattling was a warranty issue and I should start a warranty request, which I did immediately. They did not respond to that warranty request until 8/12/2019. Impatient, (I previously used my Trekz Air for calls multiple times per week) I started an amazon return on 8/10/2019 and they had a replacement to me on 8/13/2019. My second pair did not have the rattle, thankfully. They seem perfectly normal, but again, constant complaints from people on phone and video calls. I really want to like these, they're smaller and lighter and more comfortable, but I just can't sacrifice call quality. I'm going to return these and get another pair of Trekz Air. Update: I bought another pair of Trekz Air, received them on 8/15/2019. On my very first phone call to my parents, they exclaimed that I sounded great, very clear and better than I had in weeks. I wish they'd spoken up earlier about the poor sound quality, but I guess this is confirmation that the Aeropex had terrible microphones or something.
