Our two-year-old daughter is very small and thin, but even still, this is designed to pinch when you sit on it. Because of the way it folds up, when you open it, there is a gap right where you sit, and when you sit on it, the pressure pinches those gaps closed and pinches the child's bottom. With the plastic being as flimsy as it was, even the slightest pressure made these pinch closed, so it was not that our child was too heavy (well under the weight limit listed for this item). We thought this would be really handy for taking a trip to help with using the bathroom at airports, restaurants, etc. but we could not get it to stop pinching. Really disappointed in this. Such a simple fix would just be to have the item fold up the other way, and then it wouldn't pinch at all. Really poor design.
