I have had the red, the blue, and the scheduler Roomba all have directed me to the conclusion the Roomba is created to fail deliberately. Why you ask? Because after all these years the product comes out with new little quirks (improvements..or so they say) but the life of the Roomba averages 1.5 years at its best...its very best. Sending the Roomba for repairs is useless, they do not last for any length of time. I have replaced the battery (paid to ship both ways and for parts twice) new battery gave up within 10 days, called them and told to ship Roomba back could be (and he listed 4 potential issues to cause the new battery to fail so quickly). I ask, If these are known issues why are they not dealt with years ago? I am a 70 year old disabled woman who certainly could use assistance with dust bunny removal, your concept is fantastic! Your actual quality of product is horrendous! Considering the number of years you have been on the market---I say SHAME ON YOU! I have spent what I consider to be a fortune (on my limited budget) trying so hard to give you the benefit of doubt. I cannot afford that any longer. Well Roomba, what do you have to say about the extremely short life span of your product? I am totally..totally disappointed in you.
